WE STUCK TO THE TASK - CALE

Head coach Andy Cale.
HEAD coach Andy Cale was delighted to come away from Richmond Park with three points after John Toner's winner sealed a 3-2 success against Carmarthen Town.
"We've struggled to win away from home this season but, in fairness to the players today, they stuck to the task and came back fantastically," he said.
"It could have gone either way but that's the first rub of the green we've had this season so maybe we were just due a bit of luck."
Cale reflected on the fact that The New Saints hade drawn their four previous games on the road, at Newtown, Llanelli, Haverfordwest and Aberystwyth.
"We've actually been playing some fantastic football in patches.
In fairness to the other teams we've been playing, they've played very well against us.
"The performances have been good and the recent draws away from home have probably been an accurate reflection of both teams' efforts.
"We've played some good teams, so while it's disappointing to lose points I've not been disappointed in the way we've been playing," he added.
