Young midfield player signed non-contract by Saints on 30 July 2003. An England Under-16 international and former member of the Everton youth academy, he played for the Toffees' Under-18s in 2001/2 and was a member of the under-19 squad in 2002/3, before being released on a free in June. Made one appearance for the Everton first team in a friendly against Chester City in July 2002. Trained with Wigan on the promise of a contract, but when the deal fell through considered giving up football before being recommended to TNS by former manager and head coach Andy Cale. Something of a super-sub in 2003/4, he has scored some important goals, including the winner in the 2007 FAW Premier Cup final, and has claimed a regular first team berth after being retained again for 2005/6, 2006/7 and 2007/8.
