Profile: Danny Holmes, #2


Defender who is a younger brother of The New Saints' longest-serving player, Tommy Holmes.
Danny can play right back or centre back and signed a one-year deal at Tranmere Rovers in July 2007 which was extended a year later.
He went on a month long loan to Southport in December 2007 before making his first team debut for the Prenton Park outfit at Yeovil Town in November 2008.
Released by Tranmere at the end of season 2008/9 and became a regular member of the Saints' back-line.
