The club has something of a chequered history, having played under several different guises in the LoW and Welsh League.
The current outfit was formed as a merger of UWIC and Inter Cardiff in 2000 and joined Welsh League Division 1 in 2001, where they applied for membership of the Welsh Premier during 2002/3 and challenged hard for promotion.
They hope to return to Cardiff Athletic Stadium in order to meet Welsh Premier ground criteria.
Founder members of the LoW in 1992 from a merger of AFC Cardiff and Sully, the club were ever present until relegation in 2002/1, finishing runners-up on four occasions and played in the Uefa Cup in 1994/5, 1997/8 and 1999/0.
They also won the Welsh Cup in 1998/9, beating Merthyr Tydfil on penalties.
Were known as Inter Cabletel from 1996-1999 before reverting to Inter Cardiff in 1999.
