PENALTY DRAMA
An exciting finish at the Racecourse saw Wrexham reach the final after a penalty shoot out. Neither side missed from their first six spot kicks before Tony Vidmar's effort was saved, and Steve Roberts stepped up to win it for the Dragons. Earlier, Cardiff had looked comfortable on a 1-0 lead thanks to Andy Lee, but a late Wrexham rally saw them equalise through Chris Llewellyn. Although Campbell put the Bluebirds ahead once again, Chris Armstrong headed another equaliser in the 89th minute.

RHYL SHOCK SWANSEA
Rhyl shocked a disappointing Swansea City with a 2-0 win at Belle Vue. The Lillies struck twice in a two minute spell late in the first half. Swans' defender Alan Tate could only head Atherton's shot into his own net and Steve Walters then hit a low drive through a crowded area for the second, in front of Belle Vue's biggest crowd for 10 years.

Rhyl boss John Hulse cannot contain his excitement as Swansea are beaten [Keith Williams/Sportpixs].
