Loosemores Challenge Cup 2nd Round, 2nd Leg
Tuesday 16 Dec 2003: Away - Belle Vue

ANOTHER disjointed performance by TNS saw them dumped out of the Challenge Cup at Belle Vue.
Holders Rhyl produced a spirited display in front of their largest home crowd of the season, to overturn a two-goal aggregate deficit and deservedly march on into the semi-finals.
Saints might have thought they had killed the tie when they went in front after 28 minutes.
Justin Perry's cross from the right was helped on by Jimmy Aggrey, for Nicky Ward to crash a left foot shot from 15 yards.
But Rhyl's former TNS Powell brothers had other ideas.
Within a minute of going behind, Marc Limbert's cross was headed out of defence to Gary Powell, who sent a low shot past Doherty from the edge of the box.
Four minutes before the break it was Mark Powell's turn, as he latched on to a Limbert free kick to send a header into the far corner.
Rhyl could have gone further ahead after the break, with Andy Moran firing over from a good position and Doherty tipping a Stuart Graves piledriver over the bar, before they clinched the game - and the tie - with the best move of the night on the hour.
Chris Adamson found Marc Limbert wide on the right with a superb pass, and his cross from the by-line was swept into the TNS net at the far post by Chris McGinn.
Although TNS came more into the game in the remaining half-hour, they hardly produced a decent effort on target, with central defenders Steve Evans and Jimmy Aggrey, who hit the bar, their most potent threats up front.
Rhyl showed desire and commitment, working hard for each other all over the pitch, and must surely have a great chance of retaining the trophy.
Saints must now re-group ahead of their vital league game at Aberystwyth on Boxing Day.
