Greg's Olympic plea to Kiwis

GREG Draper has challenged New Zealand to include him in their final Olympic squad after hitting 27 goals for The New Saints this season.

"They must name their final squad in a few weeks and fingers crossed I've done enough," he told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"I've been scoring goals and the team won the Welsh Premier by five points - it's been my best-ever season."
He also scored the decisive goal in the Olympic qualifying final as the Kiwis beat Fiji 1-0 to reach London 2012.
Draper (22) played in New Zealand and Australia before moving to the UK and playing for Basingstoke Town in 2010-11.
At the end of that season he joined The New Saints, and after a slow start began to find the goal-target on a regular basis.
"I didn't play in the first couple of games, and it took me the first three or four weeks to settle at the club," he admitted.
"But since then the goals have been slowing and it's been a very successful season, for me and for the club."
Draper was named as Saints' player of the season at the recent awards night.
