Davies watches Fram slump to home defeat

THE New Saints' assistant manager Mike Davies flew out to Iceland on Thursday and watched Fram Reykjavik lose 2-0 at home to league leaders FH Hafnarfjordur.

Two goals in four minutes just after half-time from Tryggvi Gudmundsson saw the Saints' Europa League opponents go down to their fifth defeat in nine games so far in the Pepsi-deildin domestic league.
Fram are now eighth in the 12-club table.
Hafnarfjordur played Haverfordwest County in the 2004/5 Uefa Cup, winning the away leg 1-0 at Cardiff's Ninian Park, before completing a 4-1 aggregate win on their own ground.
But, since then, FH have become the wealthiest club in Iceland, winning the league four times.
The Saints fly out to Iceland on Tuesday ahead of Thursday's game and will train in the Icelandic national stadium - the Laugardalsvollur - the night before the tie.
