Edwards relishing Bluebirds' reunion
Thursday 26 November 2020
FORMER Caersws midfielder Aeron Edwards is relishing the visit of his former team-mates to Park Hall on Friday night.
Edwards has been outstanding for The New Saints in recent weeks and returned unscathed from helping the Wales Under-23 semi-pros to a 2-2 draw in Northern Ireland on Tuesday night.
"We have been playing really well to be honest, we are not conceding and we are scoring a few goals," says Edwards.
"We beat Rhyl 4-0 and Llanelli 2-0 and we’re keeping clean sheets and scoring goals.
"I think we have found a good formation with our team and we’re looking solid at the moment."
And Edwards says he is looking forward to seeing a few old faces: "It will be good, I’m looking forward to it, it will be nice to see everyone and I still speak to the assistant manager Dave Taylor quite often," he added.
