Legends

GARY EVANS
A much sought after playmaker who turned down a string of offers from other clubs while at Llansantffraid/TNS.
A regular in League of Wales representative sides and one of the Saints' longest serving players (1994-2000), he made well over 200 appearances for the club scoring 25 goals. His brother Ian also played for the Saints.
TOMMY HOLMES
Made more starts than any other TNS player apart from Scott Ruscoe in 11 seasons at TNS after arriving from Tranmere Rovers in 2000.
Only took up the game at the age of 12 after being converted from martial arts, but a handful for any forward to get past and very good in the air.
Played a major part in the club's four title successes in 2004/5, 2005/6, 2006/7 and 2009/10.
MARC LLOYD WILLIAMS
Only spent two seasons at TNS, but the Welsh Premier's all time leading goal scorer broke the club's scoring record with 34 from 27 league appearances in his first season and followed-up with a further 24 in the next campaign.
Released at the end of season 2005/6, has continued his career in the domestic league, becoming the only player to top 300 goals.
KEN McKENNA
Scored 20 goals from 28 league starts for the club before taking over as manager in season 2000/1, where he took TNS into Europe and three successive runners-up places in the Welsh Premier before clinching a league and Welsh Cup double in 2004/5.
Followed-up with two more Welsh Premier titles, the Loosemores League Cup and the FAW Premier Cup during his 10-year reign, which ended towards the end of the 2007/8 season.
ANDY MULLINER
Experienced goalkeeper who won Welsh youth and semi-professional caps. Played 117 consecutive games in League of Wales, League Cup and Welsh Cup matches for the club between 08/08/95 and 18/10/97 having joined from Curzon Ashton in March 1992.
Apart from a six game loan spell at Aberystwyth, he missed just one League of Wales game between the formation of the league and the end of season 1996/7.
His finest hour came in the 1996 Welsh Cup final against Barry, when he saved the decisive penalty in the shoot-out to win the trophy for Llansantffraid.
SCOTT RUSCOE
Consumate midfielder who holds the all-time appearance record for The New Saints since signing from Chester City in January 2002.
A dead ball specialist who controls the midfield and is a tireless runner, his consistent performances in 2003/4 earned him a place in the Welsh semi-professional side that won the Four Nations trophy.
Players' player of the year 2004/5 and supporters' player of the season 2007/8, voted into the league's team of the season in 2003/4, 2004/5, and 2005/6.
JOHN TONER
The club's record goal scorer with 112 from 181 league appearances before his release in April 2009.
Began his career as a trainee with Liverpool and burst onto the WP scene with Cemaes Bay before scoring 38 goals in 49 games for Conwy United. Signed for TNS from Conwy in November 1999, scoring on his debut against Connah's Quay.
Notched his 100th Welsh Premier goal at Llanelli on 10 October 2021 and his 100th Welsh Premier goal for the club at Aberystwyth in October 2008.
