Second-half display frustrates Davies

TNS assistant manager Mike Davies admitted his players had missed the chance to top the table after beating Caersws 4-0 at Park Hall on Friday night.

Four goals to the good at half-time, the Saints failed to breach the Bluebirds' defence again, despite creating several good chances.
"The result is very satisfying," said Davies. "The first-half performance as very good, but the second-half didn't quite go the way we wanted it to.
"But we kept another clean sheet, so we are pleased."
The result left the Saints level on points with Llanelli with a game in hand, but with an inferior goal difference, while Saturday's home defeat at the hands of Haverfordwest left Rhyl trailing by three points.
And keeper Paul Harrison has not picked the ball out of the net for 716 minutes since Rhys Griffiths scored at Park Hall in the League Cup quarter-final on October 27.
