School children enjoy fun-packed day

CHILDREN, parents and teachers from Criftins Primary School near Ellesmere enjoyed a fun packed day when we entertained Bala Town in the Welsh Premier on Saturday.

Organised as part of our new Schools' Initiative, the visitors enjoyed an organised football coaching session with one of our academy coaches Rob Smith and played 10-pin bowling, as well as having a tour of the dressing rooms before cheering on The New Saints.
Over 20 primary schools have been targeted in the area to take part in the initiative, which will take place at every home Saturday game.
The children also received certificates at half time from TNS players Alex Darlington and Craig Williams and the school will also receive a new full kit for the school from the club.
"The children had a great day out," enthused Saints' general manager Ian Williams, who called into the school this morning to present them with a signed shirt and tickets for our game against Neath next Saturday.
