Kingy is back at Park Hall

CHRIS King is back at Park Hall, four years after quitting The New Saints to join Accrington Stanley in League Two.

The 31-year-old son of former Tranmere and Bangor City player Alan King, he joined TNS from Southport in the summer of 2002 and was first-choice at left back, winning a place in the Welsh Premier's dream teams for seasons 2006/7 and 2007/8.

A regular for Stanley during his first season, King sustained an injury and was released at the end of 2009, later joining Colwyn Bay on loan.

During his first spell with the Saints, which spanned six seasons, he scored nine goals from 128 (+14) Welsh Premier appearances.

King, who won three league titles while with TNS, also featured in both legs of the Uefa Cup tie with Manchester City in 2003 and the Champions League clash with Liverpool two years later.
