Ladies share spoils with Wolves

TNS Ladies dropped two home points in the Midlands Combination League on Wednesday night as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Wolverhampton Wanderers at Park Hall.

Both sides had chances, with Abi Francis going close for TNS after rounding the keeper and Wolves' captain Anna Perks seeing her header from a corner crash against the crossbar.
But it was TNS who broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute as Courtnie Cassidy's crossed ball from 30 yards out found its way into the net.
Wolves' reply came 10 minutes later as Sophie Walker's cross was flicked into the net by Sophie Richards at the near post.
Wolves' keeper Becky Thomas made some good saves, while both sides looked for the breakaway goal, but in the end they cancelled each other out.
