Saints won't take anything for granted

THE New Saints won't take anything for granted as they host bottom club Caersws in the Welsh Premier on Friday night.

"There’s no such thing as an easy game in this league so the lads will approach it professionally and give Caersws the respect they deserve," says assistant manager Mike Davies.
"We won’t take it for granted. We need to play well otherwise they are capable of getting a result.
"There’s no real pressure on them. They are a decent side and they have got some good players.
"They’ve picked up a few points of late and they were unlucky with last weekend’s game being abandoned and they will be reasonably confident from that.
"We will just continue to try and pass the ball and move it quickly like we always do," he added.
With the exception of Tommy Holmes, the Saints have no injury concerns with Aeron Edwards and Craig Jones both fit following their service with the Wales semi-pros in midweek.
Meanwhile, Bluebirds' manager Mickey Evans knows his side are in for a severe test.
"We have just got to go there and play our best," he says.
"They are very much a team in form, they had a great result against Llanelli and a comprehensive win against Rhyl. They have beaten all the other title contenders so their confidence will be sky high.
"Nothing less than our best will be anywhere good enough, and we can just hope that they have an off day which is always possible."
