Ladies complete Rotherham comeback

TNS Ladies made a long journey to Yorkshire with a very young squad worthwhile by beating Rotherham United 3-2.
The hosts, who must have felt confident with their experienced team fresh from an 4-1 away win at Wolves, took a ninth-minute lead.
With Emily Ridge and Chloe Wilkinson getting used to playing in central midfield, TNS responded well, and were asking all the questions.
But the home team again caught us with a long ball on 36 minutes before a quick reponse from Abby Frances, who ran onto a pass to finish superbly four minutes before half-time.
We were pleased with the performance of our young players in the first half and sent them out to win the game in the second.
And it was TNS who took full control with Rotherham's long ball game totally ineffective against a solid defence.
On the hour mark, "super subs" Alicia Robinson and Sally Jones were introduced and control of the game became domination.
It was Jones who pulled us level after 71 minutes and the winner arrived nine minutes from time when a Jones pass was met by Robinson and her 20-yard shot found the bottom corner.
TNS looked likely to add to their lead when the final whistle blew after a great comeback.
The Ladies' next game is this Sunday May 2, the Shropshire County Cup final against Allscott at Shrewsbury Town's Prostar Stadium, kick-off 6.00pm - all support welcome.
