THE future of Bangor City manager Peter Davenport is unclear, according to the club's unofficial website, Citizens' Choice.
The former England international and Manchester United player is said to be awaiting confirmation of the club's playing budget for next season.
At a meeting with the City board last Tuesday, the manager was asked to outline his plans for the forthcoming season and indicate the cost implications.
Since then, no news has been forthcoming from Farrar Road.
Davenport has been at Bangor since June 2001 and has taken the club to Uefa Cup and InterToto Cup qualification, before a disappointing sixth place this season.
He has already been linked with other managerial jobs in the Welsh Premier including TNS, where the position of Ken McKenna is not certain.
Meanwhile, Cwmbran Town and former Newtown boss, Brian Coyne, has been linked with the TNS and Welshpool Town jobs, but is reported to be staying with the south Wales outfit despite the difficulties of commuting from his Shropshire home.
