INJURED RUSCOE MISSES TROPHY BID
Injured Scott Ruscoe will miss the final game of the Four Nations Trophy
SCOTT Ruscoe will miss the final game of the Four Nations semi-pro tournament in the Highlands.
The Saints' midfielder is in hospital with a blood clot sustained in the opening 0-0 draw against the Scottish hosts in Keith.
However, defender Steve Evans seems certain to take his place in an injury-stricken side to play the Republic of Ireland at Inverurie on Sunday.
And Wales - level on points with Scotland - can lift the trophy for the second time depending on the outcome of the Scots' game with England.
Carmarthen goalkeeper Tony Pennock (hamstring) and Gary Lloyd (strain), are also out of the side, along with Haverfordwest's Adie Harris, who had a holiday already booked before his late inclusion in Andy Beattie's squad.
Porthmadog striker Carl Owen is also doubtful after scoring in the 2-0 win over England.
Wales (probable): Roberts; Coupe, Todd, S Evans, Jones; Green, B Davies, N Davies, Searle; G Evans, C Giles.
