Dean Williams in action against Caersws
[John Baker]
SUSPENDED TNS keeper Dean Williams may be headed for Aberystwyth Town.
A summer clear-out at Park Avenue will see the departure of former TNS favourites Ricky Evans and Anthony Wright, as the Black & Greens embark on a policy of introducing more locally-based players.
Current keeper John Worsnop would also be part of the exodus.
Since joining Saints from Telford United in 2001, Deano has made a total of 48 Welsh Premier appearances for the club.
Although Ged Doherty was first-choice with the gloves at the start of the last campaign, Williams - who is now 34 - appeared in the second leg of the Uefa Cup tie against Manchester City and was an automatic selection until a neck injury forced him out of the side.
He returned to fitness only to fall out with the management and was suspended.
As a result, the former Doncaster Rovers and Tamworth stopper has not played for Saints since the end of January.
