NEW Welshpool Town boss Tomi Morgan is looking forward to the challenge at Maesydre and believes he can take the Lilywhites into the top half of the table.
"Carmarthen worked their way to the top half when I was there and hopefully we can repeat this here," he said.
"Welshpool used to be the most successful central Wales club but we will not achieve success overnight.
"Everything is in place, with a superb academy running teams at all levels to ensure players are coming through the system, but we must first consolidate our league position."
Chairman Steve Hughes added: "Tomi wants to bring the club together from junior to seniors, as well as incorporating our successful ladies side.
"He is also keen to develop the academy and work with the club to ensure local players are given an opportunity."
