BOYLE JOINS CANARIES TO ASSIST PHILLIPS |
 |
 |
CAERNARFON Town boss Wayne Phillips has settled on former Welsh international
Terry Boyle as his assistant manager at The Oval.
Phillips will continue in his midfield role for the Canaries and wanted an experienced
coach to partner him from the bench.
Boyle, who was twice capped by Wales, has a Uefa A licence and gained Welsh Premier
experience at Bangor City for two seasons under former Farrar Road boss Meirion
Appleton, Inter Cardiff, Ebbw Vale, Barry Town and Carmarthen Town.
He also played for Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace, Newport County, Cardiff
City and Swansea City.
"I am delighted to welcome Terry on board," said Phillips.
"He brings with him tremendous knowledge of the game, as well direct contact
with the up-and-coming young players in the locality."
Meanwhile, Caernarfon's interest in Aberystwyth hitman Marc Lloyd-Williams has
cooled. |
