Amika v TNS
A tie against another eastern European side could be on the cards for TNS.
SAINTS got a glamour tie in last season's Uefa Cup, but the chances of another look slim when the draw is made in Geneva on 24 June.
A possible match-up with Premier League fair play winners Charlton Athletic was ruled out today, after Armenia's FC MIKA and a Ukrainian team were successful in the fair play draw, joining Östers IF Växjö of Sweden.
A more likely scenario is another difficult trip to eastern Europe.
With most European leagues now decided, possible opponents for TNS include NK Maribor, NK Primorje (Slovenia), Ujpest TE, Kispest Honved FC (Hungary), Zimbru Chisinau (Moldova), Zeljeznicar Sarajevo, FK Modrica (Bosnia), Dinamo Tbilisi, Siolni Bolnisi (Georgia), Sloga Skopje, Sileks Kratovo (Macedonia), Zalgiris Vilnius or Ekranas Panevezys (Lithuania).
TNS boss Mike Harris would certainly put on his party hat for a tie with Bohemians (Ireland), AEK Larnaca or Omonia Nicosia (Cyprus), Haka Valkeakoski or Allianssi Vantaa (Finland), Birkirkara (Malta), FK Ventspils or Metalurgs Liepaja (Latvia).
Clubs will be grouped geographically with Welsh sides likely to be placed in the Northern Zone with opponents from Belgium, Denmark, Eire, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Norway, Scotland and Sweden.
Last year's 7-0 aggregate defeat to the Blues was an exciting adventure, but a draw against a lesser side would give Saints a chance to progress beyond the initial stage for the first time.
