Mike Harris is looking at the longer term as he restructures his coaching staff.
TNS boss Mike Harris says consistency is the key to mounting a renewed assault on the Welsh Premier title.
As the club prepares to unveil its new coach, Harris says “We are making plans not just for this season but down the road.
"By this time next year we will have 60 lads across the age groups, creating competition for places and ultimately hoping that some can make it into the first team.
“My objective is to give the club long-term financial stability without having to make extra investment,” he added.
While Harris is disappointed manager Ken McKenna and his players did not deliver any silverware last season, he says he measures success over the longer term.
“If people look back over six or seven years there has been a constant year on year improvement and the team is better than the one we had five years ago.
“When we won the title we could not retain it the season after. In the last three seasons we have finished second and that is a high level of consistency,” he said.
