NEWLY-promoted Airbus UK manager Rob Lythe has yet to sign any new talent ahead
of his first tilt at the top flight.
But has spoken to NEWI Cefn Druids' defenders Paul Dowridge and Mark Allen,
as well as diminutive Plas Kynaston midfielder Joe Desormeaux.
Lythe also has designs on former Caernarfon and TNS midfielder Carl Rodgers,
who is already on forms at Colwyn Bay, veteren defender and former Oswestry boss
Dave Norman, Flint Town hitman Lee Acott and Halkyn keeper Alan Tyrrell.
“I haven’t as yet signed anyone, but we have got a number of players
coming down for training, five or six new faces which we are hopeful of signing,”
said Lythe.
"We have also all the players recruited from last year.”
The Planemakers are hoping to play their home pre-season matches on their own Broughton
ground, although they will travel to ground-share partners Conwy for a friendly.
The club will officially open their new pavilion before the match against Northwich
Victoria on 7 August. |
