VETERAN defender Dave Norman is the latest player to join Tomi Morgan's rebuilding programme at Welshpool Town.
The 30-year old joins from Caernarfon Town after Welsh Premier service at Llansantffraid, Barry Town, Rhyl, Bangor and Oswestry Town.
Norman has clocked up 137 league appearances since 1993 and Morgan is delighted with his arrival at Maesydre.
"Dave is a versatile player and can play anywhere in defence," said Morgan. "He also comes to Welshpool with plenty of experience to offer."
Norman joins new signings Kenny Burgess from Bangor City and Gary Roberts (Rhyl), but interest has cooled in former TNS, Bangor and Aberystwyth midfielder Ricky Evans.
The former Carmarthen boss also concedes he must trim the Lilywhites' squad. "It is up to me to make some big decisions before the start of the new season," he added.
