KEVIN Keegan is ready to unleash England World Cup star Trevor Sinclair on the Saints.
But there is one small crumb of comfort for TNS - Keegan will be without Paolo Wanchope for the Uefa Cup ties.
The City manager says Wanchope is a doubt for the clash after injuring a hamstring against Mansfield on Saturday.
So that only leaves TNS facing the firepower of Robbie Fowler and Nicholas Anelka!
Plus Sinclair, who agreed to a four-year contract with City in a 2.5m transfer from West Ham United over the weekend.
The England winger will undergo a medical today before joining Man City on their pre-season tour to Denmark.
"Trevor will train with us providing there are no problems, and will travel to Denmark.
"It gives us another couple of strings to our bow," said Keegan.
"He can play left or right, at wing-back and up front and I am delighted."
Keegan wasn't so happy with the loss of Wanchope, though, saying, "It could well be that he misses the two games against TNS."
Keegan said: "Wanchope has done his hamstring. He felt something go and will now miss the tour.".
Veterans David Seaman and Michael Tarnat, Keegan's first two signings, both made their debuts in a 2-1 friendly defeat to Mansfield at Field Mill on Saturday.
Long-term injury victims Danny Tiatto, Paulo Wanchope and Christian Negouai all played a part in the game.
