TNS Youth will play next season's mid-week games in the British Colleges' West Central regional league, under the guise of Walford & North Shropshire College.
The promotion marks the success of the Saints' Scholarship scheme, which saw 20 boys on a full-time course at the college last season.
A further 20 will start the three-year course in September with the club committed to grooming the best of the intake for the Welsh Premier, under new head coach Andy Cale and course directors Martin Pope and Peter Griffiths.
The college already has a squad of boys from Shrewsbury Town, but they do not play in the league side.
Another innovation is that 15 of the boys will live in a hall of residence this year.
"We have already been working on a nutrition programme with Shrewsbury for them," says sport and recreation officer Sarah Hughes. "We think it is better than putting them in digs as they are coming from all over the country."
One of the new entries, former Oxford United youth striker Taurean O'Sullivan, has already been named in Saints' Uefa Cup squad for the games with Osters IF.
