CAERNARFON Town chairman George Denham has said he will not place the club's Welsh Premier place in jeopardy in the impasse with the club´s Academy.
A row has erupted because the club has failed to hand over a £3,000 cheque received in February from the FAW Trust to academy officials, who have since suspended official connections with the club.
Denham says that he hopes the situation will be resolved on 29 July, when he and club directors meet with the Academy management team, FAW Trust officials and League secretary John Deakin.
"We want to see the books, simple as that," said Denham.
"We have the money ready to hand over when the situation is resolved."
The Oval's Academy management team headed by Howard Jenkins say that Denham has already had sight of the books and threaten they will sever all relations with the Canaries if the money is not forthcoming at the meeting.
