MARTIN Naylor could miss Thursday night's second leg Uefa Cup tie against Osters
IF.
Despite playing in last week's friendly against Hyde United, the right wing-back
is still struggling with an ankle problem.
With left-back Chris King having only just returned to training following a hamstring
problem and Steve Evans already ruled out with a jaw injury, boss Ken McKenna
admits his resources are again stretched.
"We could have played a friendly last weekend to help with our match sharpness
but I had to weigh up the risk of picking up more injuries which we just can't
afford," he said.
The absence of Naylor would be a particular blow as the Saints would dearly like
his attacking option on the right flank as they bid to overturn the two-goal deficit.
Osters also have their problems with goalkeeper Peter Kennfors sidelined with
a broken hand and Claes Green recalled from lower league Vaxjo BK to deputise.
