NAILS INJURY DOUBT FOR SECOND LEG
Martin Naylor could miss Thursday night's second leg against Oster
MARTIN Naylor could miss Thursday night's second leg Uefa Cup tie against Osters IF.
Despite playing in last week's friendly against Hyde United, the right wing-back is still struggling with an ankle problem.
With left-back Chris King having only just returned to training following a hamstring problem and Steve Evans already ruled out with a jaw injury, boss Ken McKenna admits his resources are again stretched.
"We could have played a friendly last weekend to help with our match sharpness but I had to weigh up the risk of picking up more injuries which we just can't afford," he said.
The absence of Naylor would be a particular blow as the Saints would dearly like his attacking option on the right flank as they bid to overturn the two-goal deficit.
Osters also have their problems with goalkeeper Peter Kennfors sidelined with a broken hand and Claes Green recalled from lower league Vaxjo BK to deputise.
