Aber striker Lee Spike could be headed for TNS [Keith Williams/Sportpixs]
LEE Spike could be the latest Aberystwyth player to leave Park Avenue.
Total Network Solutions have served seven days' notice of approach for the striker who has scored 23 goals in 64 Welsh Premier appearances for Rhyl and the Seasiders.
TNS boss Ken McKenna is concerned that his strikers are not finding the back of the net and feels the introduction of Spike to his squad will provide a wake-up call for his existing forwards.
Meanwhile, two former Black & Greens played in the Saints' friendly at home to AFC Telford United on Saturday.
Manager Gary Finley, who parted company with Aber on Tuesday, has been brought in as central defensive cover for Steve Evans, who has only just returned from a jaw injury, and Jimmy Aggrey, who misses the first two Welsh Premier league games through a suspension picked up playing for TNS Reserves in the Montgomeryshire League.
John Lawless played on the left hand side for TNS having been allowed to leave Park Avenue mid-way through his contract.
