FINLEY CRAVES RETURN TO ENGLAND
Gary Finley's sojourn at TNS is likely to be brief as he helps out old pal Ken McKenna
DESPITE appearing in a TNS shirt against AFC Telford on Saturday, former Aberystwyth Town boss Gary Finley craves a return to the English pyramid.
The 33-year old ended a two and a half year association with the Park Avenue club after a summer of turmoil, saying: "I've enjoyed my time at Aberystwyth."
He wants to return to the game as player and manager as soon as possible as he works towards his Uefa A badge coaching qualification.
With TNS manager Ken McKenna struggling for central defenders, Finley has signed non-contract for his old pal to help the Saints through their early league games.
Steve Evans returned as a substitute yesterday following several weeks out with a jaw injury. Jimmy Aggrey is suspended for two games after being sent off in a Montgomeryshire League game while playing for TNS Reserves.
Finley and McKenna were colleagues in the successful Conwy United side of the late 90s and still retain a friendship.
