OUT of favour Rhyl defender Michael Jackson has joined Welshpool Town.
The 24-year-old makes the switch after failing to gain a regular starting slot with the champions and will be added to the squad for Saturday's trip to Bangor City.
Jackson made 49 Welsh Premier appearances for the Belle Vue club after joining from Southport in summer 2001.
Maesydre boss Tomi Morgan has also signed goalkeeper Lewis Solly, who impressed in last night's 5-1 Challenge Cup preliminary round win at Airbus UK.
Solly has previously played for Stourbridge, Wolves and Bury.
Meanwhile, Rhyl have also released defender midfielder Craig Hogg, who has rejoined Caernarfon Town after failing to make the starting line-up with Rhyl.
The Belle Vue club is also in talks about the future of defender Robbie Wood, who made 13 appearances for the Lillies last term after joining from TNS.
