LAWLESS HANDED THREE-GAME BAN
John Lawless suspended for three games
RECENT arrival John Lawless has been suspended for three games, following a sending-off when playing for Aberystwyth last season.
Lawless and Lee Spike were both sent off in the last minutes after an incident involving visiting keeper Phil Priestley, and Lawless has already served a suspension for the red card.
He has been handed an additional ban by the FAW for remarks made to referee Mark Whitby after he was dismissed.
The game at Park Avenue, which Aberystwyth lost 2-1, was also notable for unsavoury incidents involving Citizens' fans after the final whistle, which resulted in the Seasiders issuing new ground regulations.
The forward will miss the away game at Rhyl, a home league match with Caersws and the second home leg of the Challenge Cup tie with Connah's Quay Nomads.
