ROBINS SEE RED OVER SUSPENSIONS
NEWTOWN chairman Phil Trenbath is fuming after losing three players to red cards at Port Talbot on Tuesday night.
The Robins ended the Loosemores Challenge Cup tie with eight men and Trenbath was at a loss to understand why Gareth Sudlow, Danny Barton and Adrian Moody all got their marching orders from referee Steve Hames.
"It was by no means a dirty game, but now we must travel to Bangor City this weekend with a skeleton squad," said the Latham Park chief.
"The Loosemores Challenge Cup is not worth risking a player being suspended and the club is disappointed to be without three key performers for such a game."
