KEEPER WHITFIELD TAKES WING
AIRBUS are set to sign former Wrexham goalkeeper Paul Whitfield from Bangor City.
Regular stopper Stuart McIntosh fractured his skull in an accidental collision playing for Cymru Alliance Holywell Town last weekend and faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Manager Rob Lythe is delighted to boost his keeping options with the addition of 23-year-old Whitfield, who made six Welsh Premier League appearances for the Citizens this season, before being replaced by former Altrincham and TNS keeper Richard Acton.
He has also started 25 games in the league for Connah's Quay Nomads and Newtown, but will not be available to make his Wingmakers' debut until next weekend.
