TNS have a repeat meeting with Bangor City in the Welsh Cup fourth round
SAINTS reward for their 11-0 beating of Penrhiwfer in the Welsh Cup is a fourth round home tie with Bangor City.
The Citizens travelled to face Welsh League outfit Dinas Powys on Sunday and came away with a 3-2 win courtesy of goals from Paul Roberts, Marc Connelly and Tony Gray.
Saints met Bangor last weekend in a Welsh Premier League game at Treflan, which ended with honours even at 1-1.
The fourth round tie with Bangor will be the first-ever meeting between the clubs in the Welsh Cup competition.
"It's always nice to avoid the big teams, but if you're going to win the cup then you're going to have to play them at some stage," commented Saints boss Ken McKenna on the draw.
"It's a game to look forward to, but we've got a lot of big games coming up between now and then."
