McKENNA PLEASED WITH NOMADS' RESULT
KEN McKenna was naturally pleased with the Saints' performance at Connah's Quay: "In the first half we were brilliant in our passing and movement and I was impressed because I thought the lads might have been tired from midweek," said the Saints' boss.
With TNS leading five-nil at the break, the second half was a non-contest, although to their credit, the Nomads never threw in the towel, before John Lawless and John Leah added late goals.
"Our objective in the second half was to keep a clean sheet and it was good to add a couple more goals," added McKenna.
