NO TV DRAW FOR PREMIER CUP?
PAIRINGS for the quarter-finals of the FAW Premier Cup are likely to be made by the competition's board of directors and not broadcast live on BBC Wales on Saturday.
"Despite efforts by all concerned, including BBC Wales, it has not been possible to mutually agree arrangements," says the competition's secretary Malcolm Stammers.
"As soon as I can after the meeting (on 1 December), I will advise you as to the board’s decision and/or arrangements agreed with BBC Wales."
Stammers says that the timing/format of the draw will be the first item on the agenda at the next meeting.
According to the previously published rules of the FAW Premier Cup, Bangor City, Caernarfon, Haverfordwest and TNS should receive home ties against Cardiff City, Rhyl, Swansea City or Wrexham.
