LLANELLI could have as many as seven new players on show when they face Afan Lido at Stebonheath Park on Friday night.
New boss Nick Tucker has raided his old club Taffs Well to bolster the Reds' squad, bringing to an end a week of wrangling with the Motaquote Welsh League leaders.
"When you look at the current Llanelli squad, it is clear that the quality is not there. This Friday we should have many new faces," Tucker told the Llanelli Star.
"I have done a deal with Taffs Well to bring up to seven of their players to Stebonheath.
" It's been hard because that's a big part of their side and there was upset and anger at losing their manager and up to seven players.
"In the end, the players expressed a desire to better themselves and play at a higher level and Taffs Well decided not to stand in their way."
Having watched his side lose his first game in charge last Friday night Tucker says little more rebuilding will be on the cards.
"I'm looking to bring eight new players into the squad and that will use most of the available budget.
"There will be a little left in reserve but I don't have time to play with. We need to get results now."
Llanelli are still pointless after 10 Welsh Premier League games, while opponents Lido lie dangerously close to the relegation zone with just seven points so far.
