DARREN Ryan has left Haverfordwest County to join Motaquote Welsh League hopefuls Grange Quins and scored from the penalty spot on his debut in a 2-1 win at Bridgend Town.
The player has enjoyed a distinguished Welsh Premier League career with Barry Town, Total Network Solutions, Carmarthen and the Bluebirds, scoring more than 40 goals in 130 plus appearances.
Ryan was with Shrewsbury Town for two seasons before moving to Chester and Stockport taking his Football League appearance total to 57. He also played for Newport County and Merthyr Tydfil, scoring eight goals from 39 league games after switching to the New Bridge Meadow club.
Quins chairman David Pinches says: "Paul (Giles) has signed quality players in all positions and if they do their duties to Gilo's satisfaction then we believe the time is right for the championship and promotion.
"Gilo's guile, management experience and motivation of the squad is second to none in this league. There is a genuine air of optimism at Quins."
