Graham Evans of Caersws notches another against Afan Lido earlier this season [John Baker]
CAERSWS marksman Graham Evans will finally receive his Welsh Premier League 'golden boot' award on Monday.
League secretary John Deakin will present the trophy before the mid-Wales Bluebirds face Newtown in the local derby at the Recreation Ground.
The accolade was given to the 24-year old after 2003/4 leading scorer Andy Moran failed a drugs test and received an eight month ban from the FAW.
But presentation of the trophy to Evo has been delayed because the Rhyl striker failed to return it.
"It's my third award in four seasons, so obviously I'm delighted," said Evans, who hit 24 goals in 30 appearances for Caersws last season.
He has already notched another 15 this campaign and adds: "We are scoring goals from all over the park at the moment which is pleasing."
Evans has spent the whole of his Welsh Premier career with his home village club, scoring 127 goals in 177 appearances to put him fourth in the all-time league rankings.
