TNS Ladies 8-0 Stratford Town
West Midlands Regional League
Sun 9 Jan 2005: Home - Walford
UNBEATEN TNS Ladies easily disposed of bottom club Stratford Town to set up an intruiging
top of the table clash next Sunday with West Bromwich Albion, who recorded
a 5-3 victory at home to Headless Cross.
The TNS girls never needed to get out of second gear to beat the visitors, for
whom keeper Keri Ann Nicholas kept the score respectable.
Jemma Lloyd started the rout with a first half brace on 12 and 31 minutes before
Verity Farell got in on the act with two after the break.
Katrina Ravai added the fifth straight from the restart, with Sally Jones and
Sarah Parton adding to Stratford's woes.
Lloyd completed her hat-trick with three minutes remaining.
TNS are level on points with next Sunday's visiting table-toppers, who have played a game
more. Kick-off is at 2.00pm.
