WELSH PREMIER TO GET NEW HQ |
 |
THE Welsh Premier League will be administered from state-of-the-art offices after the FAW Council rubber-stamped proposals to quit the current Westgate Street HQ.
The decision to move to Neptune Court on Cardiff's waterfront comes after the FAW decided their current home was inadequate to tope with the current demands of Welsh football.
Plans are also in hand for a new £1m training complex to be built for the Welsh international side at Treforest on the outskirts of the capital.
The FAW moved to Westgate Street from Wrexham in the mid-80s, but the scope for development is limited because the building is listed.
It is expected to raise £500,000 when sold, with the remainder of the £1.5 million funding for the new premises coming from Uefa. |
