On opposite sides - Steve Evans and TNS transfer target Wyn Thomas
SAINTS have served seven days' notice of approach for Haverfordwest County centre-back Wyn Thomas.
The 26-year old made his Welsh Premier League debut with Aberystwyth Town in 1996, moving to Carmarthen Town in 1998.
He moved on to the New Bridge Meadow in 2003 and has made a total of 215 league apperances, scoring 19 goals.
Thomas is a former Welsh schoolboy international and Welsh Colleges representative.
There has been concern about the Saints' backline in recent weeks as they leaked six goals in six games.
"We recognise Wyn as a good, solid defender and someone who will strengthen our defensive options," says TNS general manager Ian Williams.
"As a club, we are always on the look-put to strengthen and will pursue our notice of approach with the player next week."
