Druids' keeper Louis Mackin saves from the head of Stevie Evans
TNS 1-0 NEWI Cefn Druids
Welsh Premier League
Easter Monday 28 Mar 2005: Home - Treflan

TNS went eight points clear at the top of the Welsh Premier League thanks to a Marc Lloyd-Williams goal after just 32 seconds at Treflan.
Druids' keeper Louis Mackin failed to hold a weak Jamie Wood shot and Jiws pounced to rob the keeper and fire into an empty net.
But the visiting stopper then turned hero as he made good saves from Nicky Ward and Lloyd-Williams twice as Saints failed to break down a defensive Druids outfit who only managed one real threat on goal for the whole 90 minutes.
TNS also had two penalty claims turned down by referee Steve Hames, who hardly endeared himself to the home faithful when he sent off Nicky Ward late in the game.
The utility man was felled by Aled Rowlands as he ran through on goal and, although Ward then squared up without laying a finger on his opponent, the veteran Druids' skipper threw himself to the ground and Hames produced a red card.
Saints were mainly restricted to long range efforts in the second-half, but Druids' sub Carwyn Davies produced a late scare with a hooked shot that flew over the angle of the far post.
But with Rhyl going down 2-3 at home to Bangor, the manner of the victory hardly mattered as TNS edged closer to the Welsh Premier title.
