McKENNA JOY AT BANGOR WIN
TNS 2-1 BANGOR CITY

J T Hughes Mitsubishi Welsh Premier.
Sunday 31 August, Home - Treflan, 2.30pm

AFTER a thrilling encounter, Ken McKenna acknowledged that Bangor were unlucky not to have earned a point.
"Bangor are a very exciting team and they came here looking for a win, which was excellent for the supporters," McKenna said.
"The game was a bit too open for my liking as Bangor created a number of good opportunities and I thought they deserved a draw.
"But I'll take the three points because last season there were times when the luck went against us.
"I thought the exertions in Europe took their toll on us at times, but that's to take nothing away from Bangor who played extremely well.
"Even at this early stage of the campaign, this was a very important win for us," said the boss.
