THE Non-League Paper says it will seek a public apology from the 68-year old Bangor City supporter who made a racist gesture at Cwmbran Town coach Sean Wharton.
The man, who comes from Anglesey, was banned from Farrar Road until the end of this season - effectively two games - after making a monkey gesture at Wharton, but the Welsh Premier board extended the ban to apply to all league grounds until the end of 2005.
"Both the League and the FAW are determined to stamp out racism in Welsh football and are hopeful the action will deter others," says an official statement.
However, the FAW has incredibly failed to name the supporter, which makes it impossible for clubs to implement the ban.
