ALTHOUGH it is TNS that are twinned with Chelsea, Bangor's Owain Tudor-Jones could be the first Welsh Premier player to move to Stamford Bridge.
The giant midfielder is waiting on the Blues' verdict after spending a week's trial in London.
The 18-year old was spotted in pre-season by Chelsea scouts and invited to the club so they could take a closer look.
Jones has made a big impression at Farrar Road over the past couple of seasons and a move to Chelsea would certainly ease the Citizens' financial worries.
Manager, Peter Davenport, says: "He is a great talent and has made a great start to the season, grabbing a couple of goals."
The player says that, even if Chelsea don't move for him, he still wants to play at a higher level.
"It would be great to play in the First or Second Division," said the former Wales youth international.
