KEN McKenna has a simple request ahead of the Saints' Champions League clash with Liverpool - avoid complete humiliation.
McKenna boss sends his team out at Anfield on Wednesday hoping his players rise to the challenge of facing the five-times European champions rather than freeze.
But he says he is used to battling against the odds.
"There are not many people who come to a club and have to build it up from nothing but that's what I had to do here," he said.
"In the first week all I had was a bag of balls, some cones and three players, so we used to have two-a-side matches.
"We have come a long way since those days and while there is still plenty of work to do if we are going to get this club where I want it to go, you couldn't buy the publicity this draw has generated.
"I am under no illusions. I know exactly how hard this will be for my players. But I am a proud person and a professional person and I don't want to be humiliated by anybody."
