SAINTS must put the excitement of the Champions League clashes with mighty Liverpool behind them to concentrate on more humble, but important objectives.
A new Welsh Premier League season beckons for Ken McKenna and his squad and they start their preparations with a visit to Treflan from League Two Chester City.
New manager Keith Curle is currently honing his line-up, which is likely to feature the club's record signing, former Tranmere Rovers and Northwich Victoria hit-man Greg Blundell, who arrived at the Deva Stadium earlier this month in a reported £105,000 move from Doncaster Rovers.
Also likely to feature is Scott McNiven, who followed his manager from Mansfield Town after taking time out to receive treatment for cancer.
The Leeds-born player started his career at Oldham, making more than 100 appearances in seven years at Boundary Park before joining Oxford and then the Stags.
Chester's pre-season started with a draw against Stoke City before three wins on the bounce over Burton Albion, Tavistock and St Blazey.
On Saturday, they disposed of Droylsden 4-1 and come to Treflan in good heart.
McKenna, meanwhile, is likely to revert to a more conventional line-up than at Anfield or Wrexham, with strike pair Mike Wilde and Marc Lloyd Williams leading the attack.
